A colleague of mine recommended this book to me and I absolutely loved it! It’s part of the Norton Guide series – you know, those fiction and poetry anthologies stuffed to the gills printed on thin paper that you have to read in English Lit class – and as such, it’s an excellent guide to how to write. English language — Rhetoric. It breaks down each stage of the process, from acquiring and recognising a viable idea down to the finished project. Her input made me reassess and fine-tune my writing. I actually had an epiphany while reading this book.
