Men i Norge skapte hennes bok ingen debatt. That said, I’m glad I did because the ending was great! This book was an emotional rollecoaster and made me cry like no other book I’ve ever read. Interesting characterization and well written scenes that awakes feelings like sadness, anger and also a bit of happiness. I thought the story lagged on and on sometimes, but overall I really enjoyed it.

Hun, som alltid oppfattet seg som mer av en europeisk feminist enn en norsk camlila, ville gjerne lese noe fra sine essays for forsamlingen, men hun hadde ingenting som var oversatt. The middle part would probably have made me put the book down if it wasn’t for my school project depending on me reading it. It is believed that her personal experiences in life, specifically her relationship with Welhaven, influenced the book. But, the story was actually really interesting at times, but again a bit boring, probably more boring than interesting, but the message is there and clear.
